Statutory Compliance Requirements

Filing Your Financial
Statements Made Easy

All Singapore companies must file their financial statements (FS) with ACRA each year. Some small private companies (less than 20 shareholders and no corporate shareholders) may be exempt from filing full FS, but must declare their solvency online when completing their Annual Returns.

If a company cannot pay its debts when due, it must file its FS regardless of exemptions. Companies can file full FS in XBRL, or key financial data with a signed copy of FS presented at the AGM.

ACRA-compliant financial statements

Financial Statements Made Simple

We prepare financial statements following Singapore FRS, giving a clear view of your company's finances. A complete set includes:

  • Financial Position – Assets, liabilities, and equity
  • Profit or Loss – Company's profit and other income
  • Cash Flows – Cash generated from operations
  • Changes in Equity – Dividends and shareholder transactions
  • Notes – Key accounting policies and important assumptions

Audit Requirements Made Simple

Singapore companies must appoint an auditor unless they qualify for an audit exemption.

Small private companies may be exempt if they meet two of these three criteria for the past two years:

  • Revenue ≤ S$10M
  • Assets ≤ S$10M
  • ≤ 50 employees

Group companies may also qualify if the whole group meets the small company criteria.

At DTSL Accountancy & Consultancy, we guide you through audit requirements and ensure compliance without the stress.
